I honestly think the job loss risk is over exaggerated. Lots of jobs will be lost for sure, but Ai doesn't magically know things. It doesn't know what a banana is until a human shows it what a banana is. Super intelligent Ai won't be able to read humans minds and provide something for us without a human having to prompt it to do so. It's a tool. And it's absolutely unsustainable. It's sefl defeating also. If 70% of jobs are lost, what are the companies even using Ai for? If no one can afford to buy anything, what is there to research? You can talk about ubi but where does that money come from? Ai can't repair and manufacture as well as people think it can. Theachines Co trolled by Ai have ti be repaired also. I'm sure some kind of legislation will come along at some point to assure the human race isn't enslaved by cyberdine systems.
