I'm hopeful that some AI "creator" will step on Disney's shoes and get their asses sued into oblivion, creating a new legal standard that AI "artists" and companies will now need to abide by. Once people really start profiting off of this stuff that messes with the Nintendo's and Activision's of the world, I think we'll start seeing legal action taken very quickly. Once there's legal standard, then it will give actual artists much more leeway to start suing people who are straight up ripping off their art. It looks bad right now, but this tech basically just came out and we're in the wild west of AI, stay optimistic y'all.
