It seems the responses are similar to the 1970s Elisa program. In this 'interview', the answers are canned responses. The Star Wars and Star Trek was most obvious, but all the robot answers and comments were canned. Also, it is programmed with politician-styled responses - diverting answers that are not answers to the actual question.
