I disagree on one point with Bernie - Losing jobs to automation will be humanizing, not dehumanizing. Instead of jobs, people will be free to pursue their passions and interests. We can run out of jobs, but we can never run out of work to do. Rapid advancements in tech have to be reflected in rapid advancements in politics. Every country needs to implement a basic income guaranteeing a decent standard of living and a job guarantee that sets the minimum wage and provides social security for all participating workers. For example those who take care of their elderly or disabled relatives or who do other work that is socially useful but is currently unpaid, would also be considered a job guarantee job.
