All you fools who buy this garbage are living a pipe dream. Ask any coder what they think literally 90% of our job is prompting claude its heinous. You already dont need any junior engineers. The last 5 to 10% is a matter of understanding what you want but even that is beginning to show glimpses of fray. Often claude comes up with better architectural ideas for any existing plan you give it and often makes assumptions for you that a skilled intuitor would realize. Theres been so many times ive asked it to do something that was inherently flawed, claude realizes this and corrects it under the assumption of what I truly wanted. Most of the time this assumption is correct. Its truly unbelievable, our work is far more hallow and pathetic than what it meant to truly understand a codebase end to end. Most of us are depressed because of how shallow our work is. Its so unreal how much change has occured that within circles doubting that we wont lose our jobs is laughable and most of us believe theres a good chance we'll did by this crap. People who shill this pipe dream that we'll be fine is doing a serious injustice to the entire human race underselling how MASSIVE this fcking problem is.
