I'm a traditional painter. sometimes I use AI to generate reference. It's just a visual help to start the process and distort it to my liking, but I agree that it's stealing and I wouldn't miss it once gone. That said, I consider someone who claims to be an AI artist on par of someone who consider themselves as an artist because they can find pages on google. :D
