He’s essentially saying he’s hoping for communism controlled by AI. He and everyone who’s in control will have to relinquish there property rights to there companies, so that we can have resources to live. He won’t do that though and no one else in the elite class will either. Another thing is that in his benign scenario that just giving all humans all the resources they need to live will be ok. However, people need purpose, we need work. I know a number of people who live off of the government and make zero attempt to better their lives, or contribute to there community. What’s the point? Are we just going to live in endless vacation? We won’t make songs, we won’t do art, we won’t do sports, because AI will do it for us. We’ll just be isolated in our homes playing video games, as it will be the only thing left that gives us a challenge and can find any meaning in. Replace the challenge of reality with virtual reality.
