I'm disabled and an artist. My disabilities? I'm autistic, ADHD, and I have anxiety, and prone to intrusive thoughts. The art I make? I'm a metal musician. The argument that AI is more "accessible" for people like me is an OUTRIGHT LIE!!! They literally are just co-opting the idea of accessibility, while promoting a piece of art that's only accessible in the sense that "off" is a channel on the TV. They literally don't know what accessibility is. Accessibility isn't DOING SOMETHING FOR YOU, what accessibility is is that a person with a disability is afforded the opportunity to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services as a person without a disability in an equally effective and equally integrated manner, with substantially equivalent ease of use. Music, writing, drawing, sketching, painting, and so on that I put under the umbrella of art ALREADY IS ACCESSIBLE. Art supplies are relatively cheap, readily available, anyone can buy them, anyone can use them, and anyone can learn how to draw, sketch, paint, sculpt, write, and how to sing or play a musical instrument. In fact, us artists are the types to say that art is for EVERYONE. Anyone can engage, there's no massive barrier to entry, you just have to have the love for the art, a love for the craft, and a constant need to improve your craft. Artists aren't given a magical ability. We just worked at it. A lot. To the point others might say we were obsessed. And to a person that only views art as a commodity to be bought and sold, they don't see the real value. And yes, if you're making a follow up video or want to use my comment, please, by all means, include it.
