I think you're missing the point, if someone asked me is it worth it to study a 4 year degree in software development, I would'nt give advice about current AI capabilities but rather what AI can do after four years when he graduates, I think that a company that employs 100 programmers right now is going to need 20 programmers after 4 years. AI does not replace employees but it automates tasks, and the more it automates the less staff a company needs
