I assume that you are biased toward victims. While the challenge is not easy to analyze deeply, you should understand that chatbots are tools and users should take precautions, including alerts against hallucinations.
Chatbots are not totally safe. It is similar to fire. You can use fire for many activities and cook delicious meals, but you can get burned.
