I write as a hobby, and personally I use AI to translate my writtings to English, for research(like finding the right word), for keeping track of my world building, and also for suggesting me lists of names (previously I used a website that was a name grenerator).
Overall I find it pretty useful, but I would lie if I pretend I have never felt tempted to copy-paste chunks of texts into my writtings, right now my pride is preventing me from doing that (althought, my fulltime job is a software developer, and I constantly use it to generate documentation for my peers and in that regard I don't hessitate to just copy-paste responses when they are good enough).
