I think the thing that has done me the most good is talking about artworks as pattern translations from life.
A human with literally NO knowledge of any other artworks ever, can perceive real life and translate what they see into a series of patterns through a picture or a photo. An image isn't just a peice of life, its a translation of life into pieces that humans recognise as objects. This is not a pipe etc. AI can never see a pipe, ever, except through these translations. Its not in the room with the pipe and it doesnt have eyes or hands with which to touch the pipe. It can only see a pattern that a human saw first and then translated for it. It is 100% reliant on existing translations while humans are capable of being 0% reliant on existing human translations.
