I see that almost everyone agrees with the video but for me it's actually hard to define why a random good picture taken by your iPhone can be copyrighted, pointing of a black square can be copyrighted, canvases where the artist just swung a bucket with paint on top of the canvas can be copyrighted, but this AI-generated art cannot.
P.S. not saying the guy is a genius or should be considered equal to actually talented artists but I see no reason why his art shouldn't be considered art from the law point of view
