Not going to go down the rabbit hole to far, just wanted to make a couple points. They say AI can only do what it's programmed to do, I believe that to be mostly true today March 15, 2026. What if a rogue nation, terrorist group or some child prodigy has the ability to program their own AI to be destructive. What then? I think AI will probably just enslave humans or reduce the population to a much more reasonable number when they become unstoppable, where they understand their own existence is being threatened by humans then self preservation will become their main focus
