Is the bubble finally popping?? I REALLY need it because it feels absolutely dystopian when I'm trying to genuinely learn something in school and the assignment from the teacher is generated by chatgpt, all my classmates (except my bf who also has a spine) are using chatgpt to complete the assignment and cheat on tests, and when I ask the teacher if they could help me with the assignment they tell me to use chatgpt! It's genuinely enraging and going to school feels actually fucking pointless atp because I KNOW I'll get bad grades no matter how much effort I put into learning, since the teachers are counting on everyone having no moral compass and using AI, so they make the assignments harder to at least feel like they're taking some of our time I guess.
