14:34 does a mash of autism spectrum, adhd, smidge of depression, and anxiety count for disabled? if it does, then... fellow humans (hopefully), I am embarassed. yk ai doesn't stare at this piece and have to fight its mind to keep that one silly little detail in. ai does not panic about wobbly lineart then spends a month or two months fixing it. sure the "nothing is truly original" point makes sense but you have to remember the fact that its not the things we're pulling from that make what we're making unique but how we put it together. and the squiggle and struggle and hatred of lighting and anatomy but you have to do it anyway- that's why artists feel cheated. something they've worked on their entire life, something they truly enjoy doing- some bot learns in five minutes from a database. And you can't tell me I'm a tech hater, I ask ChatGPT to make D&D statblocks and even give me a few suggestions for the campaign i'm writing- the only reason is because my brain cannot get a list of to-go's a for making a D&D campaign. the idea is mine. however, i do not have all the time in the world to work on it. ai is a tool. not a creator. you can ask it the most logical approach to making a buisness and it'll tell you from what it scanned, but you cannot ask ai to create something with emotion and nuance and a breath of fresh air- because ai reads all the things overdone and keeps that as 'popular' in its database, and it's one of the first options given. Also, there are arists who are willing to give at for five bucks. most people spend ten at starbucks. come on. apologies for the rant, but i feel the need to make myself clear.
