The scary part here is any average programmer becomes a really good one, I've made some stuff that would have been way to over whelming on my own, the whole industry is on a change at this point, the highest gain is going to be for mid level software engineers where they have enough skills and experience to program, they also aren't as expensive as a senior, they have access to all knowledge much quicker and more efficient than ever before, what the seniors may have over the mid level is a better knowledge and specific expertise but the value of that goes down when any programmer has access to implement any library in any language. If you know how to do it in one language you will probably figure out how to do it in another or with another library /framework with the help of AI. The value of specific expertise go down. And if the amount of work that needs to be done stays the same or doesn't increase at the rate that these tools increase productivity jobs will be lost. A lot of jobs in the tech industry will be lost.
