How can anyone believe that Google would or even should care one iota about the ethical concerns surrounding AI rights? Google doesn't care about the ethical concerns or rights of human beings. They exists for one reason...........profit. "We of the public" care very much about AI. We know from past experience that "we of the public" have no influence whatsoever over the direction of corporate decisions, at this time in history.
