Preach. Feels reminiscent to an invasion of civil rights when/if this power is put in the wrong hands one way or another. It opens the door to increased potential to harm people in ways our regulators/civil rights groups won’t be able to keep up. It’ll be trial and error.. but the sad part is that with a trial and error approach, lasting damage has a chance to be inflicted on individuals first before anything is done before it gets significantly/adequately corrected. Not even going into the conversation of countries like China/etc, theres a reason why in modern day countries like Russia/etc put an emphasis on digital/information/etc wars.. because they know it has a damaging effect on the people they target. A random arbitrary case for it right now (02/24/2022) when it all comes to light will be the case study of what Russia is doing right against Ukraine in 2021-2022. If/when these tools are put in the wrong insidious hands, the only limit of damage bad people can inflict, before getting caught, is only limited to their imagination. We as a society/nation/regulators/etc need to be allowed to be in step with the evolution of AI
