Universal base income is literally the only solution. Automation isn't going anywhere, if we ban it we'd be at a massive disadvantage to the rest of the world. A basic, livable income for everyone is the only way, people who are skilled enough and motivated enough to work still can and will make even more and get ahead, but a job can't be a requirement to live anymore
