You're missing one big point, and it's that yes, AI doesn't have eyes or experiences, but the human who uses it does. The human, who is the one creating the art. AI is just a tool that the human uses. You'd argue that AI does everything for the human, so how is it that the human made the art, and not the AI? Well I think that argument falls apart when you also say that AI doesn't have ideas, feelings, etc. The human does, the human is the one who uses the AI. A brush doesn't have feelings either. If someone truly cares about the art they make, whether or not they use AI, they will put effort into it. They will invest into it and will want to make it good. I'm a bit under the impression that your point is that no matter what, if you use AI, the result is inhuman. Just because AI was used. You're saying that using AI takes away from your humanity, but that's just not true. It depends on how you use AI, of course. If it's AI slop made for views and money, then it's just... slop. AI or not. And it's still human, not in an artistic way, but rather in a way that the human who made it just wants the money and doesn't care about how good it is. Not that it's a good thing. If a human wants to make something, to share a feeling, communicate, etc., it doesn't have to be made with a pencil, or traditionally, or with old tools that people used before, just because "that's human nature". It has to be made the way the human wants to. Also, at 8:15, it's "Large Language Model", not "Language Learning Model". And LLMs are generative AIs that generate text, but they don't directly generate images or sound or anything else. Just saying.
