Seriously... tech bros are very easily dazzled by things. We've been with this generative image technology for a few years now and... nothing has changed significantly. In the end, AI art was the new NFT. "Let's revolutionize the world!" A little while later... the delirium ended.
This was not created for art or artists but to meet a need in the corporate world: faster production that requires fewer workers. To say that it's just a tool made for you is being very naive.
The artists have had their copyrights violated and the AI "artists" cannot copyright the generated images (obviously). The only people who gained from this were the big tech companies that created this technology and sold it as a service and companies that will now be able to cut costs thanks to the advancement of these things.
