I've been struggling with the decision to have an ai write my story, or if I should write it myself. I've watched a bunch of really good videos like this that have made me question myself, but I'm not fully convinced for a few reasons—but I'd love to be convinced otherwise. 1.) Time. I'm a traditional artist, without the use of any ai. Usually my art takes around 6 hours to complete depending on what I'm making, which is unfortunately as much time as I get before, I have to head off to my mentally draining job. I'd love to put time and effort into learning how to write, reading books for inspirations, etc, but as an artist (without the use of any ai ever to create art) I know how long it takes before you produce something that you actually like. I feel as if ai fixes this problem for me. I draw a character, write down a few district traits that I want the character to embody, and I ask the ai to write a character Bio. Without ai, this would've taken me at least 3 days or more. (For context, my motivation to finish projects lasts about 20 days, which is why I desperately want to spend as much time trying to finish a project, and waste as little time as possible.) Okay, that actually might be my only reason 😶 but I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts about this. I've pushed back the urge to write this story myself mostly because I know it would never be finished like all the other writing projects I've made (without ai)—but Lavender's point about drawing the hills subconsciously really resonated with me, even making me tear up a bit, because I know this feeling... It's all very confusing...
