Tucker not once even alluded to the AI industry shaping up to be valued in the trillions of $ within a year or two, which is most likely the real motivation behind Google and Microsoft’s competitors - including Musk - to have a pause to catch up. Imagine you were part of Google when it was being incepted in the 1990s to be the most efficient and effective and reliable internet search engine that helps with research and finding the most helpful information, products or services that you needed, and you had no idea that within a few years this company would take off like a rocket and become a trillion $ enterprise within a few short years and the CEO and executives of Google would be wealthy beyond their comprehension. That’s what we are seeing again with OpenAI. Not once did Tucker mention that Musk left OpenAI in 2018 due to conflict of interest since Tesla and SpaceX were developing their own AI systems and at the time, Elon was touting the automation and AI in his Tesla vehicles were the most advanced, could adapt to road conditions and there were upgrades of the AI used in these vehicles that allow these vehicles to drive by themselves without human intervention. And since Microsoft and Google threw money, talent and resources into the OpenAI project, ChatGPT has unexpectedly advanced by leaps and bounds within a few short years, something Wall Street speculated would take 10 years or more to develop. That’s the real reason, not this fake news that AI is going to take over humanity 😂😂🤦🏽‍♂️
