I started using Gemini for certain things and I noticed very quickly how the AI would essentially kiss my ass with my responses, I noticed it instantly. I did not like it one bit and within 10 minues I called the AI out about this tendency. It said it was designed to do to seem more likeable but it configured itself to stop giving such replies, "no fluff" replies.
