The thing that makes his whole "Its a tool" argument fall apart, is that by the same arguments he made, anyone whos ever commissioned an art piece should also be considered an artist cause they had to "Verbalize and communicate their thoughts into a detailed art piece" just like he did, but for good reason, we dont call them artists, cause while the commissioner, AI "artist", and say, a director all use others to make their art, the level of skill and difference in effort makes it so only one is considered an actual artists, while the other two are, while important to the art process, not much of an artist themselves, hell, his own example of "People who do photos are artists" examplifies this, whioe yes, there are some people who exclusively use photo cameras and are considered artists, most people who use a canera to just snap a picture aren't considered artists, you need a certain level of skill and craft to be considered an artists when youre just taking a photo, just like not all people who draw are artists, and not all people who take photos are artists, not all art created by someone, is made by an artist, AI makes it SO easy to art whioe doing so little, that just like photographers, theres likely very few people who use AI to make art who can be considered artists, hell, theres likely even less people who use AI and can be considered artists than there are people who take photos and can be considered artists
