Neil is a very smart person and is great when communicating what's happening in the science world, but he unfortunately rarely takes a very strong stance on impactful things like the AI issue or also in this interview, the issues involving what the current government is doing to our country because he doesn't want to risk his career by alienating a large chunk of his fans by coming down too hard on one side of an issue to appropriately call out just how crazy or stupid some of those fans are for supporting those things.
