A few years ago I encountered an AI phone system when trying to call my car insurer.. it kept telling me to go to their website if I wanted to make changes to my policy but there was no option to do that and I wanted to negotiate the options and prices so I really needed to speak to someone. After several infuriating loops of options I eventually got annoyed and said "fuck off" and hung up. When I tried again about 10 mins later the company had blocked my number. Who exactly had I offended? The computer? Needless to say I cancelled my policy and went with a different company.
