not sure i fully agree, you saying that you only need to write and press enter to create art is pretty similar to digital artists just pressing a button to choose a specific brush in a digital program with specific characteristics, or use a specific colour without having to have mixed the paint themselves. at what point do you draw the line (pun intended)? a lot of artists use photoshop, photoshop has ai tools integrated into it, are we going to now disqualify photoshop art because it might have ai generated stuff into it? in my opinion its still art. we went from painting on a physical canvas with actual paint, to drawing lines on a tablet and calling it art, i think its fair to call ai generated pictures art because that's the next step... a lot of famous artists were painting portraits of people posing for them, or looking at a landscape and painting it, are we gonna deny them copyrights because they didnt paint from their imagination but instead looked at something and painted it? i'd much rather leave ai art alone and focus on the actual garbage content that ai is producing like fake videos spreading misinformation and stuff like that. i bet at least 50% of people in the comments cant even tell the difference between ai generated art and real art (me included) so why even bother?
