i don't think this guy realizes how dependent AI is, and will continue to be, on humans. his theory jumps ahead to the point that humans have become obsolete in every single physical way, and that AI hasn't hit any human resistance along the way. if humanity is in any danger at all, it will be from other humans. and in that scenario, it would be in AI's self-interest to protect us from ourselves.
another point i found funny, is how he's looking for "investments" that will be valuable in a monetary sense, in a future where he predicts we either won't exist, or where a monetary system of control would be obsolete.
