I hate when people use silly movies made for kids such as wall-e as a baseline for their example like everything in that movie is either exaggerated or doesn’t align with real life events, take the lazy overweight people in the movie you never see any of them actually head to the bathroom, and many people like me who’s spent some time in a wheelchair due to an illness or severe weakness including muscle atrophy caused by malnutrition can tell you that even people who weigh less than 100lbs during that period of time have issues trying to transfer from their wheel chair to the toilet, sure it gets somewhat easier once you get use to it, but if a person weighs a lot in all fat and they sit down all day most of them are aren’t going to be able to move themselves on their own to be able to transfer themselves back and forth from a toilet to their wheelchair, people who think AI is going to take over our jobs clearly have no idea what AI actually is and without us AI couldn’t learn, most AI learns through both human interacting and likely using an algorithm that’s combs through various articles or common answer on the internet it not to mention they tend to get stuff wrong quite a bit, people’s expectations of AI are blown out of proportion given the fact that humans maintain it’s infrastructure.
