I object to Shad's insinuation that digital coloring is comparable to AI art. Most colorists would not call themselves artists in the same way a painter or penciler would and most professionals work on tablets with a stylus, manually coloring the needed spaces on penciled and inked images by hand. The main advantages to the digital approach to coloring is saving paper and making corrections faster and easier, while otherwise doing the same thing as working with paper and pens.
