Jason there is the epitome of creatively bankrupt. Why would I buy his slop when I can create my own with the same level of effort? I disagree with Charlie on one big thing though. I don't think big businesses are going to push out real artists in the end. There's increasing evidence as time goes on that AI art just... isn't cost effective on a large scale. The only thing keeping AI companies afloat atm is the positively irresponsible amount of money early onboard investors are throwing at them. And no, this isn't a matter of "Well we just need to get more efficient at it." The tech is decades old. It's been tweaked to do good jobs in a select few fields. Mostly research. Art isn't one of those things, and that's becoming more apparent as 80% of all large scale AI projects are canceled. To the AI bros, I just have one thing to say.
Cope harder. The world can't stand your pretentious guts. The numbers fail you. No I'm not an artist. I just can't stand you.
