Am I the only one who thinks the "Control Problem" is unsolvable? If AI evolves faster than we can monitor, it acts like a pathogen.
We should stop obsessing over "alignment" and start building an immune system against it. We need "digital antibodies" (counter-AIs) and "structural antibodies" (hard disconnects) to survive the inevitable mutations. We survived biological viruses by adapting, not by controlling them. Why would digital life be any different?
