I'm surprised Hinton think Elon Musk is lacking a moral compass. Musk often speaks about his concern for AI danger and cites Hinton in his thinking. I've never heard Musk say anything "anti-human" and is in fact, deeply concerned with being useful, doing good and promoting humanity . Perhaps HInton, despite his intellect, has formed a skewed opinion because of his biased BBC/Guardian news feed.
