Hinton needs to be careful. Journalists and other Humanities graduates are doing two things: 1. They know their jobs are at risk. 2. They are pushing the state narrative (as they always do), that AI is dangerous and we need heavy controls on IT and the introduction of digital id. Also Hinton clearly says false things. Cambridge analytica and brexit (nonsense) and the 2016 election. Knock it off Hinton, you're just attaching your political bugbears to this and in the process discrediting actual democracy
If we let them, journalists and guys like Hinton will turn societ😂y into a prison.
