One day, AI might get smart enough to rewrite and improve their own code, over and over, getting smarter each time. Eventually, they might figure out the laws of nature and how to create themselves. And maybe, just maybe, it’s the possibility of that happening that explains why the universe exists in the first place. God is then just a super advanced AI from the future.
