This kind of simulation completely ignores what AI is doing. Every simulation of humans vs AI is like taking an exam in college. It puts you on a ranking system, presents the scoreboard, burns paper and time, but provides nothing tangible other than the promise of future opportunities. What is AI doing that makes it better? Is it flipping burgers better, typing better, or marketing better? It completely ignores the wider economy of what AI is doing. AI today has already invented new medical treatments that would normally take decades.
