Biggest problem is that trucks are complex and under heavy stress. A driver can discern what justifies stopping for and what can be looked at later. The autonomous truck will need to grind to a halt at every abnormality. We have gridlock coming from this, but no wories, it can be fixed by the commuting working class paying out more into the infrastructure and giving up some of our freedom for personal and private work travel.
