So let me understand this...According to a search using AI, Hinton is worth between 5 - 10 million dollars and he is considered the Godfather of AI which he now speaks of as something that will doom the rest of us. Seems like if he is correct in his predictions he should be held accountable or liable financially in some way. How convenient it is for him to get his share of the profits for something that he himself claims will damage generations to come. Lost all respect for him.
