This video has become a regular re-watch for me - it's a wonderful rebuttal to the 'AI tech bros' and it gives me hope in the midst of so much AI slop. The dark fantasy trend is especially heartbreaking because I absolutely would want to find who the original artists are so that I can enjoy more of their stuff.
Also, you are absolutely right about the Luddites being super interesting and it breaks my heart, as both a British person and a historian, that the name is used negatively. The main concern of the Luddites was that technology would push highly-skilled artisans out of work with no prospect of support in favour of cheaper, low-quality products.
