It sucks but this is a stepping stone toward the perfection of AI. If an AI can create the most beautiful piece of art which would be impossible for a human being to create, why stifle its growth? Eventually all jobs are going to be replaced by AI & we'll all have more time to hone our crafts without worry of making a comfortable living.
Also, this wouldn't be the first time automation has replaced workers. It's part of progress. Nothing is exempt from becoming a victim of progress.
