Something odd is that they act as if they are owed something. No one is blocking them from using AI as a tool or crutch. They know this, what bothers them is the general attitude of artists saying they are inferior/phony/should stop. But they are free to use AI. WHAT THEY THINK THEY ARE OWED IS RESPECT. To have classical artists see "neo-artists" as peers/legit.... just somebody who wants to walk with the community but needs a wheelchair to do it. Fact their "wheel chair" is made fun of, they don't feel a part of the group, do not feel welcome in the community. (People who need wheelchairs would and SHOULD find the idea that them the commenter being shitty at something is akin. People with disabilities surely will be pissed to hear her describe herself as such: they are the average human: a person who likes art but cannot make it (yet.) Sadly AI will be used as more of a tool than a crutch and the new generation of ipad babies will never have to learn how to do shit by hand.... that it will very much turn to be like 3d animation but only the part where they punch in numbers, the part where they use the quick "cheats" of photoshop.
