I think the big issue is that people who use ai want to feel included in making cool looking pictures, but they don’t realize that isn’t what art is about. People won’t value a cool looking picture more than the artists work and the humanity behind it. I think cool looking pictures are awesome, but the damage ai does is not worth a handful of cool pictures and tons of slop. It isn’t necessary “art” because it removes the humanity from making the picture.
