The thing is, people are just doing some of this for fun. Like what was shown in this video "Hey I just made [cool thing], it's neat." "You should be ashamed of yourself, you've stolen from a starving artist." I do think that congress needs to pass a few laws stating that a person should be able to opt out of using their art for training, or be compensated for it. I also think artists should start owning this, and make art to sell to companies for ai training. I know it's like training someone to take your job away from you. Well yes, and also the fact that it's going to go on without your permission any way, you might as well find a way to cash in. Plus some people will still love great art. Did painters stop because people were using photoshop? Did writers stop writing books when movies came out? Did people stop making movies when tv came out? People will still like seeing people create cool stuff, it just won't be as main stream anymore. Plays are still produced today even when we have movies tv, and games.
