AI should be used as a tool for getting or sorting information. It is wrong to use it for casual conversation. Government should ban on using AI for entertainment. Many people are emotionally weak. They need a therapist rather than a companion who says everything to please you. I don’t think any government will banned those companies making profit by AI bot chatting to people for pleasure using. Let’s banned it for someone under 20 years old to use. It is hard for young adults to comprehend what is the reality and AI world. PS. I think AI is dumb. I never have got an answer from AI customer support.
