Raw LLM Responses

While a good video, if not brisk, I think there is a few angles I can see it could have been better. 1. I have not used ChatGPT yet for writing, only coding. I have been ‘writing’ for over 10 years back when I was in highschool. A lot of trial and error. But so is AI, so that emblematic of the experience. 2. I wish you did more research on the actual Strike. AI is a ‘fear’ among writers like it is a media buzzword. The actual cause is more nuanced, but to put it simply Writers are losing their voice in the production, making less, while profits and inequality rise. 3. I feel an uncanny valley that some of this script was made with LLMs. I don’t care, I still watched it, but I think a human pass through and more time to the content would be very nice. 4. Finally, I really do think AI and LLMs are a net positive for the craft of the professional of any type. I mean it. Not buts usually. I do think however in it’s current form, it is probably least dynamic for writing. AI I think needs to be able to parse data, graphs and write more dynamically. Like, a timeline and a structure of plot look similar at a distance, but zoom in and distinctions emerge. Otherwise, I think AI is most disruptive for technology and the literal arts, not creative writing yet imho. All in all good video! I think I will subscribe but I think the touch of the video is a bit rough. I know talking about unions and AI ethics is a rocky spot for most, but at least you maintained a neutral approach. ❤
