This video can't be any far from truth. Coming from sw engineer with almost a decade of experience. No, I haven't been layed off. I still have a job but I first hand see how much of shift in coding AI brings. We consistently use AI to code now. It doesn't just copy paste code. It understands what I want and code hours of my work in minutes. I am not saying AI will take over programming. But it definitely helps experienced candidates enough for companies to almost stop creating new jobs, especially new grads/junior. AI can create boiler plate code, so experienced engineers can spend their time on n reviewing it quickly. That's junior lacks. So no more hiring juniors anymore. Jobs are being replaced for sure. 😊
