There could actually be merit in using AI for your art by "misusing" it, breaking it, using it in unconventional, creative ways, as artists do. The idea and process is yours, piecing things together is still a creative act, etc. There are artists out there using AI as part of their art and I think that's an interesting thing to look at/into.
