I'm thinking that maybe our national governments are just gonna force a world wide wipe. no more jobs. but instead, a budget. maybe monthly, in which we still have currency, and you can still be dumb and spend it all in one place, but each human gets maybe a country, or state, (in america) set budget for the month. it's like a monthly paycheck that you get for letting robots do what they gotta do. any crimes committed may make you lose money of some of your paycheck, OR, regular punishments, IE, restriction of freedom. it's like communism, but not. no labor, just responsibility. then again, this wouldn't really work. as the name implies, I play video games. who's gonna make those? I mean, yeah, they could do it for fun, but then they would have trouble finding people to make the game. then again, again, you would still make money off of the product. the classes would still exist, but you would have to legitimately work hard for them. billionaires would come from a great idea, and a well made product, and not just manipulation, and unfair game. not to say that the people working on the game wouldn't get unfair pay. but hey, they would get paid anyways. I'm starting to like this system. not to mention, robots could also assist in designing and manufacturing a product. anything you want, you can just make. want a plate that cooks your food? get a robot to make one with your advice. want a game with top notch immersion, and great gameplay, well that would rely on your skill as a designer. and if it turns out to suck, you could try again, or wait for someone else to do it. it would help people find their true calling. if you like your job, you can do it on your own terms, and not worry. just think about it! so yeah. I like that future. it's nice. I'm all for that. go do that, world leaders. go do that. also, stop calling yourself world leaders. there's probably a species out there with like, 8 planets. what are you on? "uh... well.... we're just about to get a second one..." I thought so.
